We do not rely solely on manufacturer range claims. Our reviews note real-world range across different terrain types, rider weights, assist levels, and weather conditions — because that is what actually matters when you are deciding between bikes.
Specification Verification
Every specification we publish is cross-referenced against manufacturer documentation and, where possible, independently confirmed. When specs conflict across sources, we flag the discrepancy rather than picking the most flattering figure.
Editorial Independence
Our rankings and recommendations are based on performance, value, safety, and reliability. Affiliate relationships and manufacturer relationships never influence which bikes or products we recommend or how we rank them.
Safety-First Standards
We flag UL certification status, battery safety records, and known issues on every bike we review. Reader safety is non-negotiable — we will never omit known safety concerns to make a product look better.
How We Review E-Bikes
When we evaluate an electric bike, we assess motor performance, battery life, build quality, braking distance, display usability, app connectivity, warranty support, and price-to-value ratio. For cargo and commuter bikes, we give extra weight to practicality and long-term reliability data from the owner community.
