How We Review Electric Bikes
At eBike Revolt, every electric bike is evaluated against a consistent, repeatable framework.
Our Scoring Framework
1. Range & Battery (25%) — Real-world range under mixed conditions, not manufacturer claims. Battery capacity (Wh), charge time, removability, and warranty.
2. Motor Performance (20%) — Torque (Nm), hill-climbing capability, responsiveness, and heat management on sustained climbs.
3. Build Quality & Safety (20%) — Frame material, brake type (hydraulic vs. mechanical disc), lighting, IP/water resistance, and UL 2849 compliance.
4. Value for Money (20%) — Spec-for-spec comparison against competitors in the same price bracket.
5. Ride Experience (15%) — Handlebar adjustability, display usability, app connectivity, and commute vs. recreational suitability.
